What started off as a small group of skaters, trying to be a
synchronized team, finally went from 0 up to 100.
At the beginning, fun was the most important aspect and competitions
were a nice
experience. But after a two-weeks training camp in Canada in the summer of 2001
and after the team was taken over by Marie Therese Kreiselmeyer in the
season 2002, many things changed. That season we became Bavarian Junior
Champions for the first time and because of our 2nd place at Junior
Nationals we were allowed to participate in our first international
competition. In the season 2002/2003 we went straight up. After an
awesome
2nd place at the Dinslaken Trophy we became Bavarian Junior Champions
again and one month later we captured the National Junior title.
Reaching this
amazing goal showed us, that our practice sessions - during which fun
is never left aside - payed off. After international competitons in
Prague (CZE) and
Milan (ITA) we finished in 14th place in our first participation in
the Junior World Challenge Cup in Kungsbacka (SWE).
In the next season we reached the 2nd place at the Dinslaken Trophy as
well as at the German Junior Championships in Oberstdorf. In Helsinki,
where we got 8th place, we became so motivated, by the outstanding
performances of the best teams of the world that we won the Swiss Cup
in Widnau some weeks later. After our former choreographer Pia Ek from
Finland had to stop working with us because of pregnancy, Andrea
Sommerfeldt, a choreographer coming from Chemnitz, took us over in autumn of
the season 2004/05. Marie-Therese Kreiselmeyer still remained beeing
our head
coach. Because of this we started too late in the new season. First we
hadn't enough skaters, were behind with
practice and so we just took 3rd place at the German Junior
Championships. Nevertheless we didn't give up and so we were able to
defend our title at the Bavarian Championships for the 4th time in
series.
Afterwards we got the 8th place at the Prague Cup in the Czech Republic
and we
reached an outstanding 2nd place at the Zagreb Snowflakes Trophy in
Croatia.
In December of 2005 our christmas wish came true: we became German
Junior Champions in Synchronized Scating.
Height of the season was the 9th place of World Challenge Cup in Helsinki
(FIN).
To the season 2007/2008 we met a new challenge. Many skaters reached the
maximum age for a junior team but wanted to continue the SYS sports.
Some other experienced skaters joined us and we found a Senior Team.
Although we are new in the "Meisterklasse SYS" we came in second in
"Deutsche Meisterschaften 2008"
